Polytechnic is a modern, collaborative graphic design practice based in London. Working across design, art direction and creative strategy, our outputs range from comprehensive branding and visual identity systems, to individual artists’ publications and online platforms. The studio develops relationships with clients in the commercial, cultural and public sector, collaborating with companies, individuals, organisations and institutions. We further run a programme of studio-initiated research projects and workshops. In early 2019 Polytechnic co-founded Gedney Common with Charlotte Flint and Ross Head. The aim of these tangential projects is to actively engage with different disciplines and wider discourse on graphic design and contemporary visual culture. Assorted visual artefacts and references from these projects and other work-in-progress are documented on our Studio Walls.
